Ki Tao Culinary Journey
An interactive, educational and cultural culinary experience during 2007.

Enjoy the company of others, exploring the spectacular environs of Central Otago.
 
Visit a high country station, a koura farm, stone fruit orchards, vineyards, taste some of the region's superb wine, prepare scrumptious cuisine at cooking classes with Ki Taos legendary chef in the Whareumu, while staying at luxurious Punatapu Lodge, Glenorchy Road, near Queenstown, New Zealand.
 
Day 1
Arrive Punatapu Lodge and settle in. Introduction to Ki Tao and Punatapu during welcome cocktails. Dinner is at the Lodge.
 
Day 2
Power walk (optional) and breakfast followed by the 'Wild Central Class' using regional produce for a casual lunch. A 'hands on' session in the Whareumu. After lunch there is free time to enjoy one of many activities Queenstown is famous for!
Dinner (own cost) is at award winning restaurant.
 
Day 3
Power walk (optional) and breakfast followed by Ki Tao's 'Wild Central Tour'.
Explore Central Otago visiting a fresh water koura farm, stone fruit orchards, and an olive grove. Taste dried fruits, natural fruit juices and olive oil. Learn about Saffron farming, take in an interactive wine film and tasting and look at or purchase merchandise from Central Otago wineries and boutique culinary producers. A late lunch at a Winery Restaurant (own cost). Later you may want to relax or take in a little shopping before dinner or assist the chef with dinner preparations.
Dinner at Punatapu Lodge.
 
Day 4
Powerwalk (optional) and breakfast followed by another extraordinary Wild Central Class in the Whareumu using product sourced the previous day.
After a leisurely lunch venture by boat across Lake Wakatipu to Mt Nicholas Station to look at farm produce, the Cervena industry. Afternoon tea and return to Queenstown Bay for last minute shopping.
Dinner at Punatapu or another fabulous Queenstown location.
 
Day 5
Breakfast/Departure transfer to Airport.
